Ronald Sarchian, a personal trainer in the United States, has set the record for breaking the most vinyl records in half a minute, managing to smash 53 before the timer ran out.

While the actually record was set last year, confirmation from Guinness World Record officials arrived on September 2, accompanied by a video on their Instagram page, confirming that Sarchian had achieved the feat.

This isn't Sarchian's first rodeo, however, with the American having set 32 Guinness World Records already — including one for smashing the most watermelons in a minute and another for striking a punching bag for the longest time.

But Sarchian's latest record has not gone down well with some sections of the internet, with one user saying "They are literally destroying history classic records to make the records that no one gives a f**k bout."
