Amazon India announces Prime Day 2026 sale; check dates, offers and membership discounts

Amazon India has announced that the 10th edition of its annual Prime Day sale will be held from July 4 to July 6, with the three-day shopping event available exclusively to Prime members through the Amazon app.

The company said the event will feature discounts across categories including smartphones, consumer electronics, home appliances, fashion, beauty products, travel services and everyday essentials. Amazon also announced a range of new product launches from Indian and international brands during the sale period.

Ahead of Prime Day, Amazon has introduced discounted Prime membership plans. According to the company, the annual Prime membership is being offered at ₹999 for a limited period, while Prime Lite and Prime Shopping Edition plans are also available at reduced prices. Existing members of the lower-tier plans can upgrade to the full Prime membership before the event.


Amazon said customers will have access to payment-related offers, including discounts on select bank cards, cashback benefits and no-cost EMI options. The company has also announced offers on flight, hotel and bus bookings during the sale period.

In addition to shopping deals, Amazon said Prime members will gain access to new content releases on Prime Video, including Indian and international titles across multiple genres. The company also plans to highlight its artificial intelligence-powered shopping tools, including Rufus and Lens AI, which it says are designed to help customers search for and compare products.

Amazon further announced discounts on select Echo smart speakers and Fire TV devices. To mark the 10th edition of Prime Day, the company has also launched Prime Playback, an AI-powered feature that provides members with a personalised summary of their activity on Amazon services.
