Are we living in the Matrix? Is everything around us a simulated reality intelligent machines have created to distract us. Will some of us get a choice of red pill and blue pill one of which will show us reality.

Industrialist Anand Mahindra in a tweet has said he thinks so and he has also given the reason why he has subscribed to this sci fi movie plot.

It is a piece of statistic, published a couple of weeks ago, that said, "Humans only make up 38.5% of internet traffic. The other 61.5% is non-human (bots, hacking tools, crypto, etc)".

"We’re already living in the matrix…," Mahindra said in his tweet on Tuesday morning.

His followers on Twitter immediately latched on to it with their own takes on it.

This user said we would need another Neo to save us, the reference here to the hacker character played by Keanu Reeves, who leads a rebellion against the machines in the Matrix film series.
