Famous Indian pop singer Alisha Chinai celebrated her 57th birthday today. The singer was born on March 18, 1965, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and started her musical career in 1985 with her first studio album Jaadu. However, Chinai got famous in 1995 when her song 'Made in India' grabbed headlines. Later, due to back-to-back hit songs, Alisha Chinai was named the “Queen of Indipop".

Meanwhile, Alisha's personal life had several ups and downs. In 1986, Alisha tied the knot with Rajesh Jhaveri, who was her manager, and eight years later, in 1994, they parted ways. Later, Alisha faced another hardship when her father was diagnosed with cancer. After the diagnosis of Chinai's father, the singer started focusing more on him than her career.

In 2022, she returned to singing with the song Chamkega India, the words of which she also authored. Alisha is said to be happy and living alone at the moment.
