Alien: Earth Release: When and where to watch Adarsh Gourav’s sci-fi horror series in India

Alien: Earth debuted in India on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium) on August 13, 2025. Inspired by the Alien franchise, the series is created by Noah Hawley and takes place in the year 2120, two years before the events of the 1979 original Alien film.

Alien: Earth streaming date in India

The series will have its U.S. premiere on August 12, 2025 via FX and FX on Hulu, followed by its Indian premiere on August 13, 2025 on JioHotstar, where it will stream until September 24, 2025.

The plot follows the aftermath of the mysterious crash of the USCSS Maginot on Earth. Among the central characters is Wendy (Sydney Chandler), the sister of human soldier and medic CJ “Hermit” (Alex Lawther). Wendy is a hybrid, meaning “an individual whose human consciousness has been put into a synthetic body.” Together with a group of tactical warriors, including Wendy, they face the greatest threat to Earth after making a shocking discovery.

Recurring cast members include Moe Bar-El as Rashidi, Sandra Yi Sencindiver as Yutani, Richa Moorjani, Karen Aldridge, Enzo Cilenti, Max Rinehart, Amir Boutrous, Victoria Masoma, Tom Moya, Andy Yu, Michael Smiley, Jamie Bisping, and Tanapol Chuksrida.

Episode schedule

With its near-simultaneous release in India, audiences will be able to watch new episodes alongside viewers worldwide. Episodes will drop weekly until the finale on September 24, 2025.

The first two episodes, Neverland and Mr. October, will both be available on the premiere date.
