Alia Bhatt pens heartfelt note after watching Rani Mukerji's 'Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway'

Alia Bhatt, her mother Soni Razdan, and sister Shaheen Bhatt watched Rani Mukerji’s latest release "Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway". Alia has said that she was deeply moved by the movie.Alia has also posted about the movie on her instagram story. "Saturday night was spent in tears with my mom and sister as we watched our favourite - the brilliant Rani Mukheriee. Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway is such an important story to tell. For me, especially as a new mother, it hit so much harder and so much closer to home," Alia wrote on her Instagram story.

"Rani ma’am - there’s no one like you! You had me transfixed and I was transported right by your side from Norway to India! Congratulations to the full team for this incredible film. (P.S- I am convinced there’s nothing my fav @jimsarbhforreal can’t do - an absolute chameleon)," she wrote.


"Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway" features Rani Mukerji in the lead role and directed by Ashima Chibber. The film also stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh in key roles.

The film is based on Sagarika Chakaraborty’s book "The Journey of a Mother". The movie shows the plight of an Indian woman after her children were taken away by Norwegian authorities.
