During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay made it clear that acting is not something Aarav is interested in, emphasizing that his son wants to follow his own ambitions instead of relying on the family’s film background.
“He doesn’t want to come into films. There’s no plan at all. He wants to be in fashion,” Akshay told Shubhankar Mishra.
Starting from the Ground Up
The actor also revealed that Aarav has already begun working and gaining experience independently.
“He is working and earning around Rs 4,500 through a job. Why shouldn’t he? It’s a good thing.”
Learning Through Travel and Craft
Akshay further shared that Aarav is exploring different aspects of fashion by travelling and learning from grassroots sources.
“These days, he goes to villages and all. He’s learning fashion from there—understanding different kinds of prints and everything.”
He added that both father and son share a strong focus on fitness and discipline, with Aarav showing dedication and seriousness toward his interests.
Akshay’s Parenting Philosophy
Speaking about parenting, Akshay said he prefers not to impose lectures on his son.
“I don’t give lectures—not to anyone, especially not to my son. Just one thing: don’t harm anybody. Don’t hurt anyone. That’s it. The rest, he should handle his own life.”
Aarav’s Low-Profile Lifestyle
Aarav Kumar, son of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, has largely stayed away from the limelight, choosing a quiet and independent life. He moved to London at the age of 15 for his education and has been living on his own since, managing everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Currently studying fashion design, Aarav has shown a keen interest in traditional textiles and village craftsmanship, often learning directly from grassroots sources.
Beyond Fashion: Martial Arts Achievements
Apart from his creative pursuits, Aarav is also a trained martial artist. He holds a black belt in Kudo and has won a gold medal in judo, reflecting his disciplined and well-rounded personality.
