Days after visiting Kedarnath Temple, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was seen visiting Badrinath Temple. Images from his visit went viral. He was seen with sandalwood smeared on his forehead, surrounded by an entourage of security.

Once outside, he was seen greeting fans who had gathered outside the temple.

Akshay shared a photo of himself from his Badrinath visit. A part of his caption read, "Jageshwar Dham serene calm and blissful (sic)."

The actor was accompanied by tight security as he offered prayers at the holy place. Situated on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river, Kedarnath temple is said to have one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

A video of the actor offering prayers has been doing the rounds on social media. Dressed in navy blue casuals, he had holy orange paste smeared on his forehead and a spiritual stole wrapped around his neck.

What he is up to?

on the acting front, Kumar has a number of projects in his kitty. He will next be seen in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', which also stars Tiger Shroff'. Helmed and written by director Ali Abbas Zafar, Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran will play the antagonist in the movie. Produced by Pooja Entertainment, the film has been shot in various locations across Scotland, London, India and UAE.

Set for an Eid 2024 release, the upcoming entertainer is said to be a part of the aspirational 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' franchise. The original film, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, was released in 1998.

Apart from the aforementioned movies, the actor has reunited with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal for Hera Pheri 3. He will also be making his debut in the Marathi film industry with Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
