Global music artist Akon will return to India this November for a multi-city concert tour, with performances scheduled in Delhi on November 9, Bengaluru on November 14, and Mumbai on November 16. In a press note, Akon expressed his excitement about returning to India. "India has always shown me so much love -- it's like a second home. The energy, the culture, the fans... it's on another level. I'm beyond excited to be back and perform live for y'all. This tour is gonna be something special -- let's make history together!" he said.

The announcement has generated buzz among fans, with concert organisers promising an unforgettable experience. “Bringing Akon back to India is a celebration. This is the night fans have been waiting for. We promise an extravagant experience that will be remembered for years to come,” said Aman Kumar, co-founder of White Fox.

Akon’s last India visit included Ambani pre-wedding gala
Akon last performed in India during the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. On the third day of the event, he performed his popular Bollywood collaboration ‘Chammak Challo’ from the film Ra.One, with actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan joining him on the dance floor.

Sharing a video from the night on Instagram, Akon captioned it, “Best pre wedding party of the year. Got to bring my whole Indian family on stage to perform my biggest record in India. @iamsrk, @beingsalmankhan, @sukhbir_singer, and the bride and groom Anant and Radihka. Unforgettable evening."
