Airtel down for many users? Here's why you are facing issues with calls and SMS

Airtel is currently experiencing a service disruption. On Monday afternoon, thousands of subscribers reported issues, with many unable to make calls or access mobile data. Outage tracking site Downdetector noted that problems began around 3:30 PM, affecting both voice and data services. At the time of reporting, approximately 2,000 users were impacted.

According to Downdetector, around 51% of users reported call-related issues, 31% experienced mobile internet problems, and the remaining 18% faced no-signal issues on their Airtel numbers.


Aitel Cares issued a statement about the same saying: We are currently experiencing a network outage, our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore services promptly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thanks, Team Airtel.

As the outage continues, many took to microblogging site X to raise the issue. “Is Airtel Network down in Delhi? Since 1 hour, I am facing calling issue, incoming and outgoing both,” wrote one user.

According to outage monitoring site Downdetector, the majority of Jio users experienced problems with mobile internet (54%), followed by JioFiber broadband issues (33%) and no signal (13%). So far, Reliance Jio has not released an official statement explaining the cause of the disruption. Numerous frustrated users voiced their concerns on X (formerly Twitter). One user wrote, "Mobile services down in Delhi of every network," on the Elon Musk-owned platform.

The majority of users reporting issues were facing problems with mobile internet, accounting for 55% of the complaints. About 33% of users experienced disruptions with JioFiber services, while the remaining 12% reported no signal on their devices.
