Airport Authority of India (AAI) invites applications for over 150 assistant posts: Here are all the details

The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has invited applications for recruitment of over 150 assistant posts. Interested candidates can apply for the posts of Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant on the AAI's official website-- aai.aero. The application process will start from September 1 and the last date to fill the online application is September 30.

Who can apply for AAI assistant vacancies: Only candidates from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep islands can apply for the advertised vacancies.

Details of AAI assistant vacancies:

• Junior Assistant (Fire Service): 132 posts
• Junior Assistant (Office): 10 posts
• Senior Assistant (Accounts): 13 posts
• Senior Assistant (Official Language): 1 post

As per the official notification, the number of vacancies can, however, be increased and decreased as per the need of the organisation.

AAI Assistant Education Qualification:
The eligibility for every vacancy is different. You can check the detailed eligibility criteria for every vacancy on the official notification here.

Age Limit: 18 years to 30 years as on August 25.

Application Fee: Rs 1,000 for candidates belonging to UR, OBC, and EWS category.
No application fee for women, SC, ST, and ex-servicemen candidates, PwD as well as the apprentices who successfully completed one year of apprenticeship training in AAI.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a written exam that will be held for two hours in the computer based mode, followed by document verification. For fire service, there will also be a medical exam for those who clear the written test and for office, a typing test will be held.

SALARY:
Junior assistant: Rs 31,000 and Rs 92,000
Senior assistant: Rs 36,000 and Rs 1,10,000
