AIIMS NORCET 10 registration opens at aiimsexams.ac.in; Check last date, steps to apply, eligibility criteria, application fee and more

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has begun the registration process for AIIMS NORCET 10. Candidates interested in appearing for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test can apply online through the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. The deadline to submit applications is March 16, 2026.

Important Dates

• Last date to apply: March 16, 2026
• Stage I (Prelims) Exam: April 11, 2026
• Stage II (Mains) Exam: April 30, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications from an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or a State Nursing Council:

• B.Sc. Nursing
• Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM)
• The age limit for candidates is between 18 and 30 years.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two stages:

• Preliminary Examination (Stage I)
• Main Examination (Stage II)

Prelims Exam Pattern

• Total Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice Questions)
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Sections: 5 sections (18 minutes each)
• Questions per Section: 20

Out of the 100 questions:

• 20 questions will be from General Knowledge and Aptitude
• 80 questions will be from Nursing subjects

There will be negative marking, with one-third of the marks deducted for each incorrect answer.

Application Fee

• General / OBC candidates: Rs 3,000
• SC / ST / EWS candidates: Rs 2,400

The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Any additional bank charges will have to be borne by the candidate.
