In a stunning display of craftsmanship, a jeweller in Ahmedabad has created a gold World Cup trophy weighing an astonishingly delicate 0.9 grams. This minuscule masterpiece is a testament to his skill and dedication to the art of jewellery making.

Rauf Sheikh's journey to creating these miniature gold trophies is nothing short of remarkable. “In 2014, I made a World Cup trophy weighing 1.200 grams, and in 2019, I broke my own record by making a 1-gram trophy. Now in 2023, I have made a trophy weighing 0.900 grams... If I get a chance during the upcoming India-Pakistan match, I will give this trophy to Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma,” he told ANI.

The sheer precision and intricacy involved in crafting these tiny golden replicas of the World Cup trophy are awe-inspiring. Each year, Rauf Sheikh has managed to reduce the weight while maintaining the intricate details and the trophy's unmistakable charm.

What's more, Rauf Sheikh expressed his desire to present this extraordinary creation to the Indian cricket team's captain, Rohit Sharma, during the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match.
