Agent Teaser released: Akhil Akkineni plays the role of a rebel with the right skill set, movie is set to release on August 12

Agent, Akhil Akkineni's highly anticipated spy thriller, has released its teaser. A rebel agent with the right skills for destruction is being investigated by Mammotty, who is the head of the national security agency. It is impossible to catch this guy, he says, because he is one of the most notorious and ruthless patriots. In addition, he reveals that he has already written his death note.

Sivakarthikeyan launched the Tamil teaser for the movie, while Kichcha Sudeep unvieled the Kannada teaser of the film. Superstar Mammootty unvieled the preview of the movie in Malayalam, while Akhil Akkineni launched the teaser in Telugu.

The nail-biting thriller is directed by Surender Reddy, marking the first collaboration between the actor and the director. There have also been headlines about the cast of the film. A big role has been cast for Malayalam superstar Mammootty in Akhil Akkineni's next. The female lead in Agent will be played by newcomer Sakshi Vaidya.

The movie is financed under the banner of renowned AK Entertainments togather with Surender 2 Cinema. The engrossing script for this highly anticipated movie has been written by Vakkantham Vamsi. The movie is co-produced by Pathi Deepa Reddy and Ajay Sunkara.

Talking about the technical aspects of the movie, the music is composed by Hip Hop Thamizha while cinematography has been done by Rasool Ellore. The editor of the movie is Naveen Nooli.

The movie, Agent, was initially set to have its theatrical release on 24th December, 2021. However, because of the Covid situation in the country, the theatrical release was postponed. It will now be released on 12th August, 2022.
