She praised India as a beautiful ally and thanked them for standing by Israel during this difficult time. Shimon became emotional when discussing the events of October 7, stating that they were one of the most horrific atrocities in the history of Israel.
Earlier, Lior Raz joined the Israel's war against Hamas. He is also an Israeli actor who is best known for his role in the TV show "Fauda." Details say that Raz has joined a volunteer group called "Brothers in Arms."
The actor confirmed the news by posting a video on social media that showed him with Yohanan Plesner, head of the Israel Democracy Institute, and Avi Yissascharov, a journalist.
Currently, 126 people are being held as hostages by Hamas, according to the Israeli military. Reports suggest that Hamas has threatened to kill the hostages in response to unannounced Israeli strikes on civilian targets. Shimon emphasized that bringing the hostages back is the top priority for Israel, and they are doing everything possible to achieve that goal. She called on the international community to intervene and help in the release of the hostages, as citizens from 36 countries are among those held captive.
Shimon also urged world leaders to come forward and assist in the release of the hostages. She highlighted the strong bond between India and Israel and expressed her gratitude for India's support. Shimon referred to Hamas as ISIS and emphasized that they pose a continuous threat.
