After another Suryakumar Yadav blockbuster, fans respond with memes
It was third fifty in his third successive T20I innings. Some fans realised that memes were the best way to capture the essence of his batting.

Suryakumar carried out another 360-degree assault on the hapless South African bowlers and raced to a third successive half-century off just 18 deliveries.
SKY started sweeping and cutting the ball for boundaries from the very first ball, and the best was reserved for leading pacer Kagiso Rabada in the 15th over. A wristy flick went for six over deep square leg, followed by a lofted drive to the long-off boundary, followed by a pull to fine leg for four, and then a scoop over the same area for six. 22 runs off the over.
He continued the carnage against others. Lungi Ngidi was slapped for a six over deep midwicket and sliced to third man for four. His uppercut Wayne Parnell for six to bring up his half century.
Suryakumar scored 61 off 22 balls before he was run out at the beginning of the 19th over.
By now, some fans were certain that memes were the best way to capture the essence of his batting. This one captured how the sixes and fours rained.

Suryakumar Yadav in the last 3 innings in T20I: 69(34), 50*(33) & 61(22).#tigerexch #indvsSa #cricket #cricketmeme https://t.co/JDz59Mhec4
— Tigerexch (@tigerexch) 1664725085000The scintillating innings earned SKY a few records. He became the first batter ever to smash 50 sixes in the shortest format of the game in a single calendar year.
His 18-ball half-century, is the joint-second-fastest - along with KL Rahul - for India in the T20 format. Yuvraj Singh still holds the record for his 12-ball fifty in the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup in 2007.
During the innings, Suryakumar became the quickest (in terms of balls) faced to get 1,000 T20I runs.
The partnership between Virat Kohli and Suryakumar (102 in 42 balls) was also India's quickest stand of 100 runs or more in this format.
