Scheduled to be held between September 16 and September 18, the exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.
Here's how to download your admit card:
- Go to the official CSIR site at csirnet.nta.nic.in
- Navigate to the ‘Download Admit Card’ link.
- Fill your credentials - application number, date of birth etc
- Hit submit.
- Your hall ticket will appear on the display.
- Download and take a printout of the CSIR NET Admit Card.
CSIR covers a wide spectrum of science and technology – from oceanography, geophysics, chemicals, drugs, genomics, biotechnology and nanotechnology to mining, aeronautics, instrumentation, environmental engineering and information technology. It provides significant technological intervention in many areas concerning societal efforts, which include environment, health, drinking water, food, housing, energy, farm and non-farm sectors.
Candidates who clear the NTA CSIR NET exam are eligible to work as lecturers of science technology.
