Actress Rambha, kids sustain minor injuries in car accident in Canada

Actor Rambha, who starred opposite Salman Khan in films like 'Judwaa' and 'Bandhan', has escaped with minor injuries in a car accident in Canada.

Another car rammed into the one in which she was travelling while Rambha was returning home after picking up her children from school along with their nanny.

Everyone escaped the accident with minor injuries, but her younger daughter Sasha has been admitted to hospital.


"Our car was hit by another car at an intersection wayback from picking kids from school! Me with kids and my nanny. All of us are safe with minor injuries. My little Sasha is still in the hospital. Bad days, bad time. Please pray for us. Your prayers mean a lot," she wrote on Instagram, sharing the picture of her kid.

Rambha, who was among the top actresses of the Tamil and Telugu film industries in the 1990s and 2000s, now resides in Canada with her husband and three children.

She has acted in more than 100 films across eight languages, mostly in Telugu and Tamil, in addition to Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi along with a few Bengali, Bhojpuri and English films.

Rambha married Canada-based businessman Indrakumar Pathmanathan in 2010. They are parents to two daughters and a son.

Reacting to her post, actor Vikaas Kalantri wrote, "My God. Take care, please. Love and prayers."

Several others reacted to the post wishing her well and her daughter a speedy recovery.
