A student was allegedy injured when actor Rajpal Yadav, who was riding a scooter accidently hit him, according to police.

The incident took place while shooting for a Hindi film in the Katra area of Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj. The student reported the incident and the alleged misbehaviour of the film crew to Colonelganj police.

The actor has also filed a police report, alleging that some people, including the student, attempted to disrupt the shooting, which was taking place with permission from the district administration.


Ram Mohan Rai, Station House Officer at Colonelganj Police Station, stated that the actor was riding an old scooter. He continued, "The actor lost control and hit the student after its clutch wire broke". According to the police officer, the student had no visible injuries.

"However, further investigation is being conducted, and further action will be taken," he added.

According to reports, comedian Rajpal Yadav and his crew began filming for their upcoming film near the Laxmi Talkies crossing early in the morning. Curious locals, including students, gathered in large numbers to witness the shooting. The crew then went to Bank Road, where Yadav was being filmed riding a scooter.
