Actor Kartik Aaryan unveils the dentist in him in his forthcoming film Freddy

Does a hint of blood on the surgical gloves with the actor holding a pair of dentures indicate a horror movie? We do not know still- Appointments are opening soon for Dr Freddy Ginwala, wrote Kartik. He suggests everyone be ready to enter Freddy's world soon.

Kartik’s new film Freddy, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, is scheduled for a digital release shortly on the OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar.

A new experience


Kartik is happy and satisfied with Freddy and feels that the movie has given him the opportunity to explore new territory. While the storyline is still under wraps, the monochrome poster offers a cryptic look and suggests a dark underlying tone. Another poster released on social media shows once again a pair of dentures, perhaps in a symbolic connection to the theme of the movie. The denture holds onto a single rose while sitting on a tortoise.

Besides Kartik, Freddy has Jennifer Piccinato and Aleya F in significant roles. In addition, Pritam Chakraborty composed the music for Freddy.
