Actor, Director E Ramadoss dies at 66 of cardiac arrest
Actor E Ramadoss, who played a variety of character roles in Tamil cinema has died. Kalaichelvan, E Ramadoss' son, confirmed his father's death on social media.

"My father, director, writer, and actor E. Ramadoss died of a heart attack. I regret to inform you that his final rites will be held at his residence on January 24, 2023, at 11 a.m.," Kalachelvan, his son, posted on social media.
His death has caused widespread grief in the film industry. Many celebrities have expressed their sorrow over his death.
E Ramadoss moved to Chennai from his hometown of Villupuram with a passion for cinema. In 1986, he made his directorial debut in Tamil cinema with the film Aayiram Pookkal Malarattum. Raaja Raajathan, Nejma Has Honesty, Ravana, Aayiram Pookkal Marlattum, Vaazhga Jananayagam, Nejnam Undu Naermai Undu, Hajwa Demokram, and Swayamvaram are among the films directed by Ramadoss. Ramadoss, who has written for many films, is also an actor in Tamil cinema.
