Actor Abhishek Bachchan's reply to a Twitter user has gone viral. Abhishek Bachchan tweeted his review of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer "Ponniyin Selvan: II" (PS 2). One twitter user reacted on his post and commented that Abhishek Bachchan should let Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sign more movies and take care of their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan replied stating that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan "certainly doesn’t need" his permission to do anything.

Mani Ratnam's magnum opus "Ponniyin Selvan II" hit the theatres on Friday. The film was released in Tamil along with the dubbed versions in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam.

Based on author Kalki Krishnamurthy's hugely popular 1955 Tamil novels of the same name, "Ponniyin Selvan II" stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala and Prakash Raj, among others.

The first part was released in September 2022.

Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen in a cameo appearance in the Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Bholaa'.
