Abhay Deol takes a dig at Anurag Kashyap, calls him "liar and toxic person". Know what happened
Abhay Deol referred to Anurag Kashyap as a "toxic person" in response to his accusations of demanding luxury items while filming the "Dev D" movie in 2009.

But that was the first and final time Abhay Deol and Anurag Kashyap worked together. Not only that, but it was also controversial since Kashyap revealed shocking allegations about Abhay Deol following the movie's premiere.
For the uninitiated, Anurag Kashyap claimed in a 2020 interview that working with Abhay Deol was "painfully difficult." According to the director, Deol remained in a five-star hotel, whereas the entire team remained in Paharganj in Delhi during the filming of Dev D. He added that this is the reason why he is unworkable for directors.
Abhay has now clarified the situation by saying that Anurag Kashyap spread several "lies" about him. According to Deol, one of his lies was that, when filming Dev D, he insisted on a five-star hotel room. He claims that Kashyap informed him that since he was a Deol, he could not remain with them, but what Kashyap told the media was the exact reverse.
The actor continued by stating that Kashyap had taught him a valuable lesson. He do not need poisonous people in his life, so he avoided them. He continued by saying the director is a "liar and a toxic person."
Additionally, Abhay stated that Anurag Kashyap later sent him messages of apologies, and Abhay eventually forgave him since he never had a personal agenda.
On the professional front, Abhay Deol is currently busy promoting his latest film, "Trial By Fire."
