Last Wednesday, Abby Cho Tin-Fung, a 28-year-old model and socialite from Hong Kong went missing. Parts of her dismembered body were discovered two days later in a house in the city's Tai Po district. Her ex-husband and in-laws have now been arrested.

According to reports, her ex-husband, Alex Kwong Kong-chi, was arrested on Saturday at a ferry pier on one of the city's outlying islands. He was on his way out of town when he was ambushed. Police seized HK$500,000 in cash and luxury watches worth approximately HK$4 million from him.

According to a later report filed with the Hong Kong Police, Choi went missing on February 21. According to police, the model was attacked in a seven-seater vehicle with blood splatters inside, which was discovered on Sunday.

The investigation led them to a village house in Hong Kong's Tai Po district, where they discovered parts of her body in a refrigerator, and a cemetery in Tseung Kwan O. Body parts was also recovered from one of two large soup pots discovered by the police in the three-story house.

One of the pots had thick fat, radishes, and carrots in it. According to the reports, the meat is thought to be human flesh (SCMP). Another pot contained human bones and a skull. To accurately assess if they belonged to Choi, DNA tests and dental records were going to be used.

Choi had four children. Alex Kwong, 28, was the father of the older two children, who are now cared for by Choi's mother. Choi had remarried, Chris Tam, and he was the father of the younger children who are still living with him.
