Aayush Sharma recounts being ridiculed for marrying Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan

Aayush Sharma recently talked about how people mocked him after he wed Arpita Khan. Despite having two films under his belt, he claims he still finds it challenging to forge his own identity because people often refer to him as Arpita Khan's husband or Salman Khan's brother-in-law.

The Loveyatri debutant revealed that no one paid attention to his social media posts, whether they were about the Mumbai weather or a film review. But it all changed after he married Arpita. The first thing he noticed after getting married was that he and his wife were being ridiculed for doing so. Some said that he married her for financial reasons, while others claimed that it was because he wanted to become an actor. Aayush added that he was frequently misidentified as a Delhi-based businessman.

When discussing the trolling, the actor noted that while he is amenable to criticism from others, he does not grant them the authority to shatter his aspirations. The actor also disclosed how the persistent trolls shattered his self-confidence. He claimed that viewers critiqued his work in his movie and called him a "white dog." Many people also conjectured that Salman Khan provided his sister Arpita Khan with a sizable dowry for her wedding.


While he has dispelled most of the myths about him, the fact that he is the Khan family's brother-in-law and a "byproduct of nepotism" still bothers him. He said he was neither a star kid nor a complete outsider. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
