A Nagaland Minister is winning the internet with his witty posts

Temjen Imna Along, State President for BJP and Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, is making waves on the internet with his viral posts. The witty minister is a new favourite of netizens because of his funny tweets. Netizens have been obsessed with his posts lately.

It began with a video where he is seen sharing benefits of having “small eyes" at an event. He said that having small eyes does not prevent him to have a wide and clear vision. Besides, small eyes get less of dirt and impurities going in and the best part is that one can even catch a nap on stage during long boring events.

He had the netizens in splits with yet another tweet where he wrote that it excites him to see what people search regarding him the most on the Google search engine. The most popular query about him was who is Along’s wife. To which he gave a funny retort that he was still looking for her.


Anupam Mittal, the founder of shaadi.com, took note of this tweet and responded that he was eager to help Along find a match. Along replied he was ‘bindas’ as of now and was waiting for ‘Salman Bhai’. To which Anupam said that although it might be a 'long’ wait for Salman Khan but there was certainly a bright chance for Along.

Continuing the trend of witty messages on Twitter, Along tweeted on the occasion of World Population Day about benefits of being single. Along appealed the masses to be sensible while making choices regarding child bearing. He requested them to keep population explosion in mind and choose to be single like him to contribute towards the cause of a sustainable future. He called upon them to join the singles movement.
