Late-Night Arrival in Delhi

She recalled an incident when her flight to Delhi arrived late at night, and the road leading to her hotel was closed to vehicles. Her Uber driver went the extra mile, parking as close as possible and then walking her to the hotel to ensure her safety.

"A complete stranger making sure I got there safely," she said in the video, appreciating the driver’s kindness.

Small Acts of Kindness

Another moment that stood out to her took place at a pharmacy. Since the cashier didn’t have exact change, he offered her a hand sanitiser for free instead.

"There was the lady who walked me to my bus station when I was lost. The man from the local restaurant who offered me a ride on his scooter when I got stuck in the rain. The old lady who gave me a plate of pakora simply because I 'must try!'" she wrote in the video's caption, adding more examples of generosity.

A Memorable Solo Journey

Paige shared that these were only a few of the many kind gestures she experienced during her month-long trip in India. She admitted feeling nervous about travelling alone as a solo female traveller but said her concerns quickly disappeared.

"These are just a few of the many incredible acts of kindness I've experienced travelling in India over the past month. Honestly, I was nervous coming back entirely on my own as a solo female traveller, but I couldn't have felt more welcome."

Falling in Love with India

She further observed that people in India consistently go out of their way to help others, which deeply touched her. "...it's one of the many reasons I've fallen in love with this country," she said.
