As the weekend rolls around and you're not really in the mood to take a stroll in the summer heat. That's ok, you can just stay indoors, or hang out with friends and catch up on movies and web series on different OTT platforms.

1. Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai


Hindi courtroom drama, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai directed by Apoorv Singh Karki follows the court room proceedings of the 2013 rape of a minor. It delves into the different way in which Advocate PC Solanki handled the case and attempts to bring the truth to light. The film is influenced by real-life events.

The film features the famous Manoj Bajpayee, well known for his work in The Family Man as well as Gangs of Wasseypur, alongside, Surya Mohan Kulshreshtha, Jai Hind Kumar, Nikhil Pandey and Priyanka Setia.

2. Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre

Hollywood action-comedy thriller, Operation Fortune: Ruse d Guerre follows the plot of a potentially world ending weapon technology deal and how Special Agent Orson Fortune puts to together a team of professionals to ensure the technology doesn't end up in the wrong hands.

The thriller was written by Ivan Atkinson, Marn Davies, and Guy Ritchie and directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone, and Hugh Grant all of whom play significant characters.

3. Mrs Undercover

Mrs. Undercover, a Hindi action-comedy written and directed by Anushree Mehta, portrays the life of a homemaker who used to be an undercover agent and has given up the life. But with a terrifying serial killer on the loose, she is asked to take up her old post again. The plot follows life as she struggles to find her balance between her personal life and her undercover work.

The film's cast includes Radhika Apte, Sumeet Vyas, Roy Angana, Akshay Kapoor, Roshni Bhattacharya and Satish Badal in prominent roles.

4. Triangle of Sadness

Triangle of Sadness is a dark comedy written and directed by Ruben Ostlund. The movie tells the story of a celebrity couple, Carl and Yaya, who go an an exclusive cruise trip, only to find out that they were lured to it and are unable to get off.

The movie features Harris Dickinson, Charibi Dean, Thobias Thorwid, Jiannis Moustos, Dolly De Leon, Vicki Berlin, Alicia Eriksson, and others. Frederik Wenzel is in charge of cinematography. The movie is produced by Erik Hemmendorff and Philippe Bober.

5. Bhediya

This movie is Bollywood's take on the werewolf trope. The horror-comedy Bhediya's plot revolves around a man who turns into a werewolf to protect his love interest from other paranormal forces. (Twilight remake anyone!!!)

The film stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon who play the main characters with Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee playing supporting roles.

6. Alice, Darling

The plot of Alice, Darling centres on her vacation with her two pals, which gives her a chance to get away from her boyfriend. Her friends quickly discern, nevertheless, that Alice and her partner go deeper than first appears to be the case.

This psychological thriller starring Anna Kendrick, Wunmi Mosaku, Kaniehti Horn, and Charlie Carrick explores some difficult topics.
