Bryan Johnson, the 45-year-old software billionaire who garnered attention for his extravagant health regimen aimed at reversing aging, has opened up about his dating life. Johnson revealed that his rigorous health routine has made it difficult for him to maintain relationships.

He had earlier said that he spent $2 million every year on expensive medical regimen to be 18 again. During an appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett, Johnson admitted to being single and shared the challenges he faces in finding a partner who can embrace his unique lifestyle.

Johnson's daily routine involves going to bed by 8:30 pm, consuming 2,250 calories within a six-hour window from 6 am to 11 am, and dedicating four to five hours to focused thinking. He refrains from alcohol consumption and takes a staggering 111 pills every day.

"In circumstances where I've tried to date, the first thing I do is give them a list of 10 things, like, 'Here are all the things you're going to hate about me, and [all the things that are] going to make me an impossible partner for you.' It's a big deal," he confessed candidly during the podcast.

Johnson emphasized that he prioritizes sleep and, as a result, won't share a bed with a partner. He explained that the disruption caused by waking events is challenging for him to manage while coordinating with another person.

"Wake events are very costly - once you get woken up, going back to sleep is very hard - so it's just extremely challenging when you've got to coordinate with another human," Johnson explained.

He also discussed the impact of his decision to abstain from alcohol on his social life. Johnson used to have a glass of wine, but he eliminated alcohol consumption to avoid additional calories. He noted that he has a unique communication protocol with his son at home, avoiding typical morning greetings.

"I go to bed early, I wake up early, and I have these four or five hours of concentrated thought where I can think about these really big pictures and try to pull myself out of my situation and just be as sober as possible," Johnson elaborated.

Johnson's wealth was amassed when he sold his payment processing company Braintree Payment Solutions to eBay for $800 million in cash in his 30s. His pursuit of regaining youth through a health regimen, known as "Project Blueprint," has attracted significant attention and discussions around the implications of such extreme measures.
