  • 68 inspections carried out across the state
  • 33 samples collected for testing
  • 56 notices issued for violations

A major seizure of 110 kg was reported from Nalgonda district. Officials also flagged several hygiene lapses, including poor cold storage conditions and failure to follow First-in, First-out (FIFO) and First-expired, First-out (FEFO) systems.

Improvement notices were issued under the Food Safety and Standards (FSS) Act for violations of hygiene provisions, while strict action was taken against licensing irregularities.
