Bella Macey, a 10-year-old girl from Australia, is bravely fighting Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), known as the "most painful condition" known to mankind.

Bella's family revealed that the condition developed after a blister on her foot became infected and inflamed during their first overseas trip. CRPS causes excruciating pain in her right leg, even with minimal movement.

Describing her experience, Bella said, "It's all sharp, it's burning, it's tingly. It's all sorts of different pain I never knew was possible."

Her condition has had a major impact, with the debilitating pain making it incredibly difficult for her to take showers or baths.

The condition has made it so bad that Bella can't even touch her leg lightly.

CRPS, being as agonising as it is, has been difficult to treat in Australia, with the Macey family having to travel to America in hopes of relief.

Bella is set to be taken to the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas, having raised AUD 2,75,000 on GoFundMe, which her parents set up with a goal of raising AUD 2,22,242.

The family expressed their overwhelming gratitude for the immense global support they have received. In a statement, they said, "Wow everyone, we are so grateful and overwhelmed by all of the incredible support to help Bella get the treatments she needs here at Spero. Bella is realizing it's hard work, but she is determined and knows she has a whole army of people behind her cheering her on."
