Mote finished the triathlon, which included swimming in the Adriatic Sea, cycling, and running, in 15 hours, 25 minutes, and 4 seconds. His completion of this arduous event earned him the title of 'Ironman.'
Mote expressed his hope that his achievement will encourage others to prioritize physical fitness. "Achieving the prestigious Ironman title is a matter of pride. Despite being busy with work, everyone should pay attention to physical fitness. A healthy body enables you to do much more. I hope my success inspires others to focus on fitness and exercise," he said.
Previously, in November 2022, Mote completed the 'Ironman 70.3' in Goa. He currently serves as the deputy commissioner for Circle-3 and is also the assistant commissioner for the M-West ward in the BMC.
The BMC also noted that Mote actively raises awareness about health and fitness among the public.
