‘Zelenskyy needs to go’: Trump blasts Ukrainian leader as Russia floats Trump-Xi-Putin summit

The U.S. President, Donald Trump, is ready for a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping on ending the Ukraine war. Trump’s statement came as he has been pushing for the Ukraine war to end. President Trump was responding to a report published by The Wall Street Journal that Putin has reportedly proposed a 3 way meeting with Trump and his Chinese counterpart to broker an end to the 4 year long war. Trump, however, insisted that the trio would focus more on denuclearisation and less on the war. Highlighting the grave results of the 4-year-long war, Marco Rubio also insisted that the war must end. Underlining Trump’s frustrations with Zelenskyy, Rubio called the Ukrainian President's accusations regarding intel access false.
