'You’re involved with protesters…': Farage clashes with Scottish media over anti-racism protests
Nigel Farage ignited fresh controversy after falsely claiming that Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar once said the South Asian community aims to “take over the world.” Speaking on June 2, the Reform UK leader also lashed out at the Scottish press, accusing them of colluding with anti-racism demonstrators gathered outside the event venue. Roughly 20 protesters held signs reading “Farage not welcome in Scotland” and chanted, “Farage, Farage, we know you, you’re a racist through and through.” During a press conference, Farage aimed at a reporter, saying: “It seems that you’re involved with this group of protesters outside.”
