'You haven’t given in to cynicism, fear & anxiety': Newsom’s No Kings rally message attacking Trump

California Governor Gavin Newsom took aim at President Donald Trump at a New Hampshire No Kings rally, accusing the president of 'going after truth and trust.' Thanking rally attendees, the Democratic governor praised those who have refused to give in to what he described as cynicism, fear and anxiety, calling them 'the antidote to all of that.' Newsom’s remarks added to the political confrontation between Trump and his Democratic critics, as the No Kings movement continues to serve as a platform for opposition to the president’s leadership.
