Iran missile attack on Israel: Trump blasts Biden, Harris; says ‘neither has any idea what is even going on’
Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, Iran launched a missile strike on Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. The attack, which occurred just hours before the U.S. vice-presidential debate between Democrat Tim Walz and Republican JD Vance, heightened global anxieties. Former U.S. President Donald Trump wasted no time in blaming President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for what he described as a dangerous escalation, claiming their policies have brought the world to the brink of World War III.

Trump asserted that under his administration, there was no war in the Middle East, Europe, or Asia, and inflation was under control. He lambasted Biden and Harris, stating, "You wouldn’t trust Joe or Kamala to run a lemonade stand, let alone lead the Free World." He went on to claim that the current administration has led to the "threat of war raging everywhere."

Accusing Harris of being weak on foreign policy, Trump suggested that Iran wants her to remain in power as they "can take advantage of America." He stated that if he were still president, the current conflicts, including the Ukraine-Russia war and the Afghanistan withdrawal, would not have occurred. "If Kamala gets four more years, the world goes up in smoke," he warned.

President Biden, in contrast, focused on the immediate crisis, stating that he and Vice President Harris had convened the national security team to discuss Iran's missile attack. He assured the nation that the U.S. is prepared to support Israel in defending itself and protecting American personnel in the region.

Iran's Fars news agency confirmed that the missile strike was in response to Israel's recent assassination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran earlier this year. The situation remains tense as the conflict continues to unfold.
