'World minus America': Singapore's SM Lee gives 'temporary' solution to tackle Trump tariffs
Singapore’s Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong issued a pointed criticism of US trade policy, stating that the 'best framework is the world minus one', a thinly veiled jab at US President Donald Trump’s tariff-driven trade agenda. Speaking at the 69th Economic Society of Singapore Annual Dinner, Lee warned that the world economy will not return to the 'status quo' that existed before the US began imposing sweeping tariffs.
