British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the U.K. is working with the United States and international allies on a “viable collective plan” to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Starmer’s comments came after Donald Trump urged allies to deploy warships to secure the waterway. Starmer said the U.K. is exploring alternatives, including mine-hunting drones already in the region, while emphasising Britain does not want to be drawn into a wider war.
