'Will fight if you dare set foot...': Def Min Padrino warns US as Caribbean naval tensions escalate

Drone footage captured on Sunday (August 31) showed the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson DDG-102 docked near the entrance to the Panama Canal amid a large buildup of U.S. naval forces in and around the southern Caribbean. Seven U.S. warships, along with one nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine, are either in the region or expected to arrive soon, bringing more than 4,500 sailors and marines.
