'We keep hitting Hezbollah hard': Netanyahu backs Trump’s ‘Iran talks’ claim, while IRGC pushes back

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday (March 23) that he spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump, who saw a chance of reaching a deal with Iran. Trump believed there was a possibility of "leveraging the mighty achievements obtained by the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) and the U.S. military, in order to realize the goals of the war in a deal - a deal that will preserve our vital interests," Netanyahu said in a video statement released by his office. Spokesperson for Tehran's Khatam Al-Anbiya Military Command Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, also said that countries outside of the region have "no right" to interfere in the security of the waters. Zolfaghari added that Iran is exercising strategic control over the Strait of Hormuz.
