Watch: China launches Wentian lab module to its space station

China on Sunday launched Wentian, the first lab module of its space station. The new module will function both as a backup of the core module and as a powerful scientific experiment platform. The Wentian laboratory module is equipped with a life ecological science experiment system and a biotechnology science experiment system developed by the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
