'Wasteful spending': Sen. John Kennedy backs Trump’s rescission package request, 'you be the judge’
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) came out swinging on the Senate floor, voicing full support for US President Donald Trump’s proposed $9.4 billion rescission package. In a fiery speech, Kennedy slammed what he called 'wasteful spending', foreign aid and public broadcasting projects funded by taxpayers and urged the American people to 'be the judge.'
