'Venezuela will be free...': Maria Corina Machado meets with Cuban-American leaders on Capitol Hill
Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado on Tuesday (January 20) met with two Cuban-American members of the House of Representatives on Capitol Hill. Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart and Carlos Gimenez, both Floridian Republicans, praised Machado and said while Venezuela is now in a state of transition, after the US capture of former president Nicolas Maduro, the country cannot move forward with officials from his former regime still in charge.
