US plane disappears! Bering jet with 10 aboard vanishes mid-air over Alaska; search underway
A Bering Air Cessna 208B Grand Caravan with 10 people aboard vanished in Alaska on February 6. The plane left Unalakleet at 2:37 pm and lost communication around 3:16 pm over Norton Sound. Search crews, including the Coast Guard and Air Force, are actively involved in efforts to locate the aircraft.
