US Elections 2024: 'I feel good about this race', Republican VP nominee Vance after voting in Ohio
Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance said he was optimistic about the race after casting his vote in Cincinnati, Ohio, early Tuesday (October 5). Speaking to the press, the Ohio senator said he believes the country could be on the brink of a "golden age of prosperity" if Americans vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Vance also mentioned he spoke with Trump at around 3 a.m., though they hadn’t talked since then. The race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris still remains neck and neck in each of the seven states likely to determine the winner: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
