US Capitol violence: New York Democrats demand Trump impeachment
Members of New York's Congressional delegation on Saturday demanded the removal of President Donald Trump from office. At a news conference on the steps of City Hall Congressman Hakeem Jeffries said Trump presents "a clear and present danger to the health, safety and well-being of the American people and our democracy." Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney said Trump "instigated, led, abetted and was part of this insurrection" to disrupt American democracy.
