'Undermines military readiness...': DeLauro opposes Defense Funding Bill, criticises Trump
Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03), the Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Committee, expressed her concerns during the subcommittee markup of the 2026 Defense funding bill. "I cannot support this bill. It abandons our allies, undermines our military readiness, and promotes divisive policies that damage morale," DeLauro stated.
