UN condemns Wagah Border terror attack
Expressing condolences to the families of those killed in the attack as well as to the Pakistani government, Ban said such terrorist acts are not justifiable.

"The Secretary-General condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place yesterday on the Pakistani side of the Wagah border crossing with India," a statement issued by Ban's spokesman said here today.
Expressing condolences to the families of those killed in the attack as well as to the Pakistani government, Ban said such terrorist acts are not justifiable under any circumstances.
"The Secretary-General urges the Pakistani authorities to bring those responsible to justice," the statement added.
At least 61 people were killed and nearly 200 wounded in the suicide attack yesterday in a car park about 500 metres from Pakistan's border gate as hundreds of spectators gathered there for the daily flag-lowering ceremony.
