Couple wins Rs 33 lakh lottery twice in three weeks, helps 18 neighbours to win Rs 6 crore with easy trick

A lottery enthusiast from UK's Lancashire has experienced extraordinary luck by winning twice within just three weeks. Neil and his partner Hayley attributed their good fortune to a simple method that anyone in the UK can use, reported Bristol Live.

Their luck began three months after joining the People's Postcode Lottery.

"We just bought the house three months ago. I got a 10-pound prize the first month and now 30,000-pound (Rs 33,17,980)," Neil, an electrician, said.


The couple's winning streak continued when their postcode won again just three weeks later, yielding another prize, though smaller than the initial amount. They believe the reason for their success is something anyone can try.

Inspired by their winnings, the couple encouraged their neighbors to participate, leading to an impressive outcome. Eighteen local residents joined the lottery, collectively winning a remarkable £540,000 (about ₹5.97 crore). The community was thrilled, with all winners sharing in the excitement of their substantial windfall.

“It is amazing to win a lottery with your neighbours. We were all talking to each other and it brought the street together. Many of us are planning to go on vacation with the amount,” Emma said, a neighbor to the two said.

Mark, another neighbor, mentioned he might get a new tattoo to commemorate the win.

“I might get Sonic this time. My little boy loves that. Off the top of my head, I might also get the lottery logo in there. I'll tell the tattooist what I want and he'll do a good job,” he told Bristol Live.
