U.S. military seizes seventh Venezuela-linked oil tanker Sagitta in dramatic Caribbean showdown
The United States has seized another Venezuela-linked oil tanker in the Caribbean, marking the seventh interception since President Donald Trump launched a sweeping campaign to control Venezuela’s oil exports. The U.S. military confirmed that Southern Command apprehended the vessel Sagitta “without incident,” releasing footage of the operation as Washington reinforces what it calls a maritime quarantine on sanctioned ships.
